CakeBoxx containers can be loaded or unloaded from either side or over the end, just like a flatbed trailer. This dramatically reduces the time needed to load or unload cargos which means better schedules, more consistency and greater throughput.
CakeBoxxes can also carry a, literally, wider variety of cargos: Liquids, fully assembled vehicles and long cargos, like pipe or lumber are all handled easily. Using full span pallets can reduce the unloading time to under 10 minutes, with just one forklift.
Several equipment and service vendors will be providing on-demand data links to CakeBoxxes. Data that reveal not only a cargo's location, but also its temperature, shock loads, humidity, and pallet level inventories. Off route, off-schedule alarms will be delivered in minutes to any number of people selected by the cargo or CakeBoxx owners.
Depending on the cargo, reduced operational costs from insurance rates, quicker turnarounds, reduced administrative viscosity and faster ship-to-wheel port transfers could make the above services effectively free.
