CakeBoxx containers can be loaded or unloaded from either side over the end or by an overhead crane, just like a flatbed trailer. This dramatically reduces the time needed to load or unload cargos which means better schedules, more consistency and greater throughput.
CakeBoxxes can also carry a wider variety of cargos: Liquids, fully assembled vehicles and long cargos, like pipe or lumber are all handled easily. Using full span pallets can reduce the unloading time to 5-10 minutes, with just one forklift.
Several equipment and service vendors will be providing on-demand data links to individual CakeBoxxes. Data that reveal not only a cargo's location, but also its temperature, shock loads, humidity, and even pallet level inventories. Off route, off-schedule alarms will be delivered in minutes to any number of people selected by the shippers, CakeBoxx owners or government authorities.
